Recently, the national standard preparation kick-off meeting of "General Specification for Water System for Pharmaceutical Production" drafted by the National Pharmaceutical Project was held in the form of video conference. The leaders of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the editor-in-chief department, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State Drug Administration and the organizational unit China Pharmaceutical Engineering Design Association, representatives of the standard preparation unit and representatives of specially invited experts in the industry, etc.30 more people attended this meeting. The meeting was presided over by Miao'er, Deputy Secretary General of China Medical Engineering Design Association.

Director Wu Luyang of the Standard and Quota Department of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and Han Song Gao Gong attended the meeting on behalf of the competent department of norms, gave important instructions on the compilation of the "norms", and put forward targeted, guiding, and operational suggestions, including the direction and purpose of the compilation of the norms, the connection between the research and compilation work and the formal compilation work, and the specific compilation requirements. Yan Zhaoguang of the Audit and Inspection Center of the Food and Drug Administration attended the meeting on behalf of the standard editor-in-chief department, pointing out that the compilation of the standard should reflect forward-looking, leading, professional and compliance, and emphasize that it should have strong guidance and operability for enterprises and regulatory departments.

Liu Yuan, deputy general manager of Sinopharm Engineering, delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the drafting unit, expressing gratitude to the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Food and Drug Administration, the China Pharmaceutical Engineering Design Association, and the participating units for their support. The development of the compilation of the "General Specification", cooperated with other drafting units during the standard formulation process, and completed the standard compilation task steadily.

Ye Ping, director of the National Pharmaceutical Engineering Process Design Office, then reported on behalf of the preparation team, and made a detailed report on the task source, preparation background, preparation outline planning structure, preliminary division of labor, preparation schedule, etc.

Finally, Miao er, Deputy Secretary General of China Medical Engineering Design Association, summarized the meeting and asked all drafting units to sort out and absorb the opinions and suggestions of leaders and experts in accordance with the "preparation work plan", so as to complete the preparation work as soon as possible.
